Leader of the Pack

Created for the CanDev Canberra Games Game Jam

Designed to be played over the course of a gathering or event without being the main focus of that gathering or event.

Players are all members of a political party meeting to determine who will lead their party to the next election.  Over the course of this event they will be trying to discreetly gain the support of other attendees so that they get enough votes to become the leader of the whole party.  They do this by swapping tokens with the other players without being caught.  The party leader is the player that has the most points at the end of the event.  The most suspicious/paranoid player is the one who has claimed the most number of tokens from others within their faction.

Players are encouraged to role play, exaggerate, brag etc when caught or after they have gotten away with fixing the numbers.
